Laura joined Mellott & Mellott in 2014 after beginning her public accounting career with another local firm in the Cincinnati area. She gained experience in both the audit and tax sides of public accounting before choosing to specialize in tax.
Laura's main area of focus at Mellott & Mellott is tax compliance and tax planning, primarily for high net-worth individuals and privately owned businesses. In addition to tax return preparation, she enjoys the strategic side of tax planning and gaining an understanding of each client's personal tax situation.

Laura is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring museums, visiting local breweries, and discovering coffee shops with her husband.
